“Asahi-san!” Nishinoya called out as he dived for the ball, digging it towards Asahi. “Te ni ireta!(I got it)” Asahi replied, doing his running start and jumping to spike the ball on the offensive side, scoring Karasuno their winning point.

There was a quick moment of silence after Asahi landed before the stadium broke into cheers. Karasuno also broke out into cheers for their hard earned victory; Yamaguchi ran for Tsukishima knocking over the tall middle blocker with a hug. Hinata and Kagayama high ten-ed, their fingers intertwining for a split second before Tanaka joined in on their celebration.

The team eventually broke apart and lined up on the back line in numerical order. The teams thanked the latter for a good game before breaking up to pack up and leave. “Nice kill Asahi-san” Nishinoya finally commented with a bright and proud smile, high five-ing Asahi with both hands, intertwining his smaller fingers with the latter’s. “Nice receive” Asahi replied with a smaller more modest smile. Nishinoya beamed like the sun at the comment before jumping into Asahi’s arms; engulfing the tall ace in a tight bear hug with his whole body. A hug that Asahi eagerly returned.
