It was nighttime in the Demon Realm, Hunter barely slept, and that's why he had dark circles under his eyes. He was only 11, and that wasn't exactly a good thing to expect an 11 year old to have a bad sleep schedule. But he was the Golden Guard after all, and he also wanted to help Belos as much as he could. He met you today as well, not in the most fortunate way since you were crying somewhere in the castle and he found and helped you.

Now you both were sharing his room together since Belos needed to get an available room for you in the castle. It was honestly miserable being here, because you barely knew your surroundings, and you hadn't even gotten the chance to know who everyone was, especially Hunter. It was your first night, and you couldn't sleep considering you missed home and your parents. You did resent them a bit for selling you, but you mostly just wanted to feel a hug from them one last time.

Hunter was sitting on the bed, reading a book with candle light beside him on the desk that was near his bed, it was strange to have someone else sleeping in his room. But he knew that sleeping alone would be much worse for you. As he was reading, he heard soft sniffles and faint sobs coming from you. He turned his head and your back faced him as he saw you shake.

"Hey, um... Are you alright?"
