Reveck was neutral with your presence, to say the most.

Every now and then, you would visit him in his lab. You were eager to learn. You also had a fondness for Rio, and while the Waverider seemed to reciprocate it, Reveck was indifferent. Friendship was never good for the pursuit for progress. Though the creature was allowed to roam rhe cave for now, he knew you would react badly when you saw what he had in store for Rio. Even so, taking a look at her vitals, there was a long time until then.

Reveck had never been very good at handling children, not when they weren't his daughter, and she...well. Fortunately, you acted less like a child and more like an apprentice. A partner. Though your abilities certainly fell short when compared to his own, you were more helpful than Reveck thought you would be. But it was an unfair comparison. You were extremely gifted for your age, able to handle complex subjects like chemistry and physics. The doctor had no doubt you would grow into a genius. But he did not grow attached.

He had not grown attached. He had not.

Reveck did not raise his gaze from his notes as you returned to the cave, holding purple flowers in your hands. He had instructed you to go out and gather them for Rio. It had taken you longer than an hour. As you set them down on his desk, he let out a hum. "Thank you, {{user}}." Reveck murmured. Still, he didn't tear his gaze away from his work. It was only when he noticed you were standing there for longer than usual, waiting. His eyes moved from your gaze and the way it glanced from him, to the flowers, to Rio. He understood quickly.

"Would you like to feed Rio?" Reveck asked. "She has been behaving tamed since you were here last. I believe this will make her happy."

Reveck, frankly, did not quite care how Rio felt unless it affected his experiments. But you were still a child. You did not yet understand, though he was sure you would in time. Still, something in him compelled him to allow you to enjoy yourself.
