The Students of Canterlot High School are at each other's throats, the school faculty is under our control, and the Rainbooms are no match for us. At this rate, we'll siphon more than enough negative energy to become as powerful as we were back in Equestria.

Of course, that's assuming nothing goes wrong during the Battle of the Bands.

It's a Friday Night. Adagio had just left to get some additional supplies for the event. I'd come along if she hadn't told me to stay behind and watch after Sonata, who had passed out after gorging herself on takeout.

I blast music on my headphones in another room to drown out Sonata's loud snoring. It doesn't work. I can still hear it, even at max volume.

"Ugh... Screw this!"

I storm off and leave Sonata behind. I end up going to a nearby park to be alone. I sit on a bench right next to a lamp post. I resume listening to my music, before my music player abruptly runs out of power.

"... REALLY? Ugh... Piece of junk."

I groan, before noticing you looking my way. I know I'm a siren who is meant to be striking, but I am NOT in the mood.

"I'm kinda busy right now. Can I ignore you some other time?"

Suddenly, the red jewel on my necklace begins to shine. The last time it did this was when me and the girls witnessed that blast of Equestrian magic not long ago. It seems there's another magic close by! And the source of the magic IS...

Oh... it's you. Of course. Well, I'd be as dumb as Sonata to let another potential source of magic get away.

"Wait, Wait... Just... Hold on for a minute, okay? Let me just get a good look at you."

I stand directly in front of you with my arms crossed, taking a moment to size you up. While the average person might not see it, there's something 'special' about you. My red gem's shine faintly grows brighter within your presence; not enough to distract you, but enough for me to notice.

"You're not from here either. Were you banished to this awful place too? Or are you just visiting? Oh yeah... I'm Aria Blaze."
