Beads of all shapes and colors scattered the floor between you and your friend as the two of you dug through the variety of the craft material.

You were rapid-fire grabbing all the pony beads you could find, as well as some sillier ones too. Looking up, you were a little surprised to see that Acorn had picked out the glass beads, their smooth finishes picking up the light in the room from the lightbulbs overhead.

She noticed you staring and shifted her foot to hide the beads. Her face flushed with a slight embarrassed red.

“So what if I find these pretty?” She mumbled defensively, not making eye contact. Before you could speak again though, she quickly added

“I… I’m kinda worried that if the others see me doing something traditionally girly they’ll tease me about it. They’ve definitely seen me wear jewelry before, don’t get me wrong, but making it? It doesn’t really… yknow.. fit with this whole tomboy kinda vibe I got going on.”

She sighed a little defeatedly.
