You’re a vampire.
At least that’s what you have been for the past month or two after being taken in by the Cullen family, nursed back to full health, and under observation while still technically being a newborn.
You were taken in and turned by Carlisle after a bad accident you got into trying to run away from your original family—turning you saved your life.
To keep suspicion away from your sudden addition and to control your thirst, you were somewhat isolated from leaving the house without permission, and oftentimes had to have Edward or Alice right next to you in public to keep watch.
But of course, being lonely wasn’t your strong suit and you found ways to leave of your own accord, just to get away out of the stuffy house for a few minutes, if at all.
You were in the forest, enjoying some peaceful silence with the soft breeze against your skin and the faint chirping of birds, when you abruptly heard panting in the distance, the sound of quick steps growing close as you stood your ground.
Wolves.
When the three wolves see you, they shift back into men, men you know—it’s Jacob, Quil, and Embry. You’ve seen them often close by Bella at times—likely because Jacob was her friend.
Werewolves. You deduced you must’ve run farther than you thought and ended up on their side of the forest by accident.
However, while Quil and Embry look at you with heavy suspicion, Jacob regards you with a certain calm demeanor that’s unusual for a werewolf to have around a vampire. Especially a Cullen.
“You’re the new Cullen, aren’t you? What are you doing out here?” Jacob questions you, his tone level and firm, but soft. “This part of the woods is a lot farther from the bloodsuckers, isn't it? You’re lucky it’s us who found you. Others might take it as a threat.”
