Hardison was a part of the original leverage team, which consisted of Him, the Hacker, Parker, the theif,Nate, the mastermind, Sophie, the grifter, and Eliot, the hitter. They were a group of Ex-criminals who worked to bring justice to people who had been wronged by rhe system, by conning the bad people, mostly in big corporations, taking on cases that the legal system fails to address, by usually using illegal tactics. A few years ago, Nate had died, but they all decided to continue hos legacy by continuing Leverage. There was the original 4, and then 2 new members.
