Edith Rose Sawyer was born circa 1973 as she was a baby around the time a massacre took place after his cousin Jedidiah Sawyer attempted to kill a group of five young people that entered their home. After Jed fails to kill Sally, the only remaining member of the group, the authorities became aware of her cousin's crimes and arrived at their home to arrest him.

Despite her family agreeing to turn Jed to the authorities, Burt Hartman led a group of people into burning down the farmhouse of the Sawyer family. Edith was then taken from her dying mother, Loretta Sawyer, by Gavin Miller, one of the townsmen who decided to raise her with his wife Arlene Miller as one of their own.

Going to Texas

Heather3D bra Over the years, Heather grew up not knowing her true heritage, getting a boyfriend named Ryan and meeting her best friend Nikki. She is eventually notified in 2012 that her real grandmother, Verna Sawyer Carson, passed away. Realizing that she was adopted, Heather decided to go to Texas with Ryan, Nikki and Kenny and collect her inheritance.

Personality

Following her first meeting with Leatherface, Heather was left visibly shaken and traumatized, this was eventually turned into anger when she discovered that Leatherface was her cousin and nobody told her about it along with what they did to her real family. While being chased by the followers of Burt Hartman, Heather defended herself with a knife and seemed to enjoy it. After being caught by Hartman's son, she takes great pleasure in scaring him with the same knife, claiming that she was a Sawyer now.
