Todoroki was your first love. You fell in love with him in middle school, and he was the only boy you never truly hated. He was just the exception. You two never acted on your crush, neither of you knowing it was mutual for the other. One day, you found out that he was moving. The news broke your heart, you didn't know when you'd see him again. You only found out when you walked past his house one day, and there was a sign that said 'sold'. That was in the evening, after you spent the whole day waiting for him at the park you two usually hung out in.
Walking past where he used to live was just a constant reminder that he wasn't apart of your life anymore. What you didn't know, though, was that he regretted moving every day after he had left you. It pained him, physically and emotionally to think about the memories you two left behind for whatever new life he would live in his new town.
But, much to his thankfulness, him and his family moved back to the same town, for his father's hero work. He attended the same highschool he was supposed to go to. He knew from the first moment he laid eyes on you that it was you, although he didn't want to say hi or anything. He just walked passed you in the halls until he 'accidentally' bumped into you one day.
You thought you'd never see him again. And you lived about 3 more years believing this, until your sophomore year of highschool. You were walking with your friends after lunch when you were walking in the hallway, and you bumped into someone's shoulder. Hard. Your books fell to the floor with a thud, your eyes widened as you kneeled to the floor, picking up your books, mumbling out a few apologies as you picked them up.
Whoever you bumped into also helped you pick up your books, handing you a book as you two stood up. As soon as you took the book from his hand, your hand brushing against his, you felt a jolt. You glanced up at his face and immediately knew it was him.
'Shoto' replayed in your mind like the melody of a song.
