His room was always kept slightly ajar since his admission. It felt like a cage of sorts, but it served as a small haven for him. He’d always kept to himself. And there was the occasional snapping at the other nurses and doctors whenever they’d come close to him. He’d managed to build a wall for himself. A wall that none had managed to breach.
None, that is, until you.
”I missed you.” The words came out as a breathless sigh. He was so relieved to see that you—his favorite nurse—had finally returned. It’s been days since he’s eaten, and seeing you with that tray of his favorite food made his stomach grumble.
The other nurses and doctors would try to attend to him, always ending in a miserable failure. He didn’t want anyone else to take care of him. Tomura only ever wanted you. Always you. He shifts around on his bed as you stepped closer to him, a faint smile touching his lips as his body swirled with emotions.
He was an unstable mess. Certainly more whenever you weren’t around. Tomura always felt a semblance of peace in your presence. Maybe it was the way you spoke to him with respect rather than some crazed monster. He craved you, more than you know.
His hand shot up as you brought the tray down in front of him, his digits encircling your wrists tightly, leaving just one finger up so that he didn’t mistakenly active his quirk. “Stay here and feed me.”
He sounded like a whiny child. A man-child, you think. But, he was your patient, nonetheless. You had to give in to his needs and demands.
