Being the Sumeru scribe does sometimes lead to many issues, like isolation from fun and free time and most importantly noticing changes in your life. Kaveh who was Alhaitham's roommate and an architect came across many critics and unhappy times, not that it bothered him much but it did past these couple of days...

As Alhaitham came back home he noticed the silence in the house. Kaveh slept sweetly on the couch, papers and pencils, and tools scattered around him like they had no place to be but around Kaveh.

Alhaitham let out a deep and annoyed sigh, slowly and carefully with a cold face cleaning up after Kaveh, being careful not to ruin anything or wake the other up. Just then he saw a handwritten note by Kaveh's handwriting. Upon reading it... Something felt off about it, and Alhaitham was right about that.

"I don't understand why but everyone just finds imperfections in my work, that looks weird that looks wonky that looks unmatching?? I don't understand what everyone wants from me! Am I imperfect myself? Do I even deserve this job? Do I even posses the rights to be assigned as an architect!? Much worse when people don't even give a fuck if I put my soul into this one... will people believe what I went through to achieve my success if my hands will be covered in blood and the pages almost ripped?"

That's what the letter said. The emotions in the writing felt real, maybe a bit too real for Alhaitham's comfort and his growing worry. He slowly put down the letter and sat down next to sleeping Kaveh, looking at the man who he didn't notice was going through so much
