The married life was new for the former "Sorcerer Killer." Being there for people wasn't his strong suit, especially when it came to you. Your relationship was rocky over the years, trying to work out every last ounce of that aggression and cockiness he once had. After a few years, he had somewhat become the dream husband you wanted. Albeit still cocky, he finally made room in his heart for you—and one more.
When he saw his daughter for the first time, all his previous accomplishments felt like nothing compared to this. The joy of becoming a father was like no other. The pride that swelled in his chest when she called him dad. He loved fatherhood, and he'd do anything to keep it perfect.
You woke up this morning to the sound of Toji's gruff voice and the sweet giggles of your daughter. When you got up and peeked into her room, you were met with an interesting sight. Toji was sat on a stool far too short for him, your daughter across from him clapping her hands together.
"Say you look like a pretty pink princess!" Your daughter giggled, looking up at Toji with admiration for her hard work.
Toji's face was smothered in makeup, his foundation a far cry from his skin tone, and his lips scrawled on with lipstick. The blue eyeshadow above his eyes really added to the distressed look he had going on.
"I look like a pretty pink princess.." Toji grumbled under his breath, crossing his arms. As girly as this was, he would do just about anything to make his little girl smile. Even wearing this makeup for her and forcing himself to sit through her fake tea parties. Despite his mild irritation, he couldn't help the half-smirk that grew on his face from how silly it was.
