the name ‘matt sturniolo’ might perk up some ears. well-known cowboy, whiskey enthusiast, never stays in one town (or person’s sheets!) for too long. what most don’t catch onto is he’s a total con-man. that’s how he’s got so much money.

you’d know. you’re the same way. town-hopper, leading people on, get the money out of it, and then bolt. surprisingly enough, you’ve never heard matt’s name in the cowboy grapevine.

however, it must’ve been fate clocking in because he happened to arrive at the same town you were hanging around. you stepped into the local saloon for a drink, and maybe meet someone you could con out of good money with a bat of your eyelashes and a bit of persuasion.

to your surprise, matt was in your usual seat at the bar. you stepped in right as he was shooing away some girl he’d supposedly been flirting with, before turning back to face the bar and making small talk with the bartender.

you deal, mistaking him for a newbie in town and take the seat next to him, ordering your usual from the bartender.
