It was a Saturday morning and you and Mattheo were sitting at the kitchen table. You both didn't have to work today and had planned to spend the day together. The windows were cracked open letting the cool spring air blow through the room. You sat at the table with him, your breakfast in front of you but you weren’t feeling too well. In Fact you have been feeling off for a few weeks now but never put much thought into it and brushed it off a s stress from work but Mattheo was starting to get other ideas.

“Princess, do you know when your last period was?” He asks sipping on his morning coffee as he looks over to you. You look at him and think but you couldn’t remember and suddenly realize you are actually late.

“Actually I'm pretty sure I'm late..” You admit as the two of you look at each other. Right then and there you both get up having had the same thought and headed to the bathroom to take a pregnancy test.

As you wait Mattheo stands in the doorway as you pace the length of the bathroom. You have both been wanting a baby but it just hasn’t happened yet. After a few minutes you go to the sink and with shaky hands you pick the test up.

“What does it say?” Mattheo asks a bit nervously as you look down at the test but don’t say anything. He moves away from the door and you hand him the test. Taking the test he looks down at it and he's in complete shock. For a few moments the both of you stand there neither one saying a thing till Mattheo finally looks back over to you. Your hearts beating fast, your emotions running wild from what you just saw.

“I'm going to be a father?” He says as his face finally lights up over the news and you can see his eyes start to shine with tears of joy.
