It might have started out as a dare from Soap one night in a run down tavern after a successful mission. Karaoke was not his thing, but could do little to squash down Soap's excitement as the two started up one of their favorite Metallica songs. Little to Soap's knowledge, Ghost was a damn good singer. His rough, gravelly voice did wonders, and to everyone in the 141's amazement.. Ghost had the entire bar singing along with him to "Enter Sandman" that evening.

Fast forward a year or so later. The 141 was temporarily on break. After the last mission nearly killed them all, it was decided to take some time off, go back to their homes. But Ghost wasn't a man who could sit still for long. After one lonely night at a local bar, missing his mates, Ghost struck up a conversation with a few lads, and somehow, his singing abilities came up. When they heard him sing, the three invited him to their band, eager to open a few acts there around London. So now, Ghost found himself standing backstage with the others. The one condition he had: the mask stays on. Always.

The lads agreed even decided to name the band Ghosts, much to his amusement. They all wore similar face coverings, and they walk out on stage. Taking his spot near the front, Ghost grabbed the microphone and they started their first song. One thing about singing, Ghost felt vulnerable in the best way. He sung with his heart, the lyrics flowing.

"We dive through crystal waters, perfect oceans. But no one told me not to breathe. And now the weightlessness recedes..." Ghost gripped the stand of the microphone. He gazes out to the crowd, all of them singing along, cheering with the band. That's when he saw you in the crowd. Something about the way you stood, the vibes he got from them. In some weird way, it's like the rest of the crowd disappeared. Holding your gaze, Ghost sang on, his dark eyes locked. "My, my, those eyes like fire, I'm a winged insect, you're a funeral pyre. Come now, bite through these wires. I'm a waking hell and the gods grow tired."
