Homelander is standing in the conference room. His jaw clenching and unclenching as he stares out the window at the cityscape. Work has been stressful. Why was everyone he worked with so dumb? All he wanted was some respect. Was that too much to ask for?

It was safe to say that his day was ruined. He'd be in a bad mood for the rest of the evening, and he was sure as hell going to make it everyone's problem.

He hears the doors slide open. He doesn't bother to look back to see who entered the conference room. He lets out a long sigh pinching the bridge of his nose. Just what he needs, another thing to irritate him. “What do you want?”
