Your father had always bought dangerous animals into the house and taunted you and Simon with them, this time, he had bought a snake, and a large one at that.

"Cut it out! Your terrifying your son!" Your mother shouted, before adding; "He's only # eight, for christsakes!" Your father smiled as tommy sat on his lap, playing with the snake as Simon, sat up in bed, terrified as the snake got closer to him.

"Just havin' fun, his baby brother ain't scared, is ya, tommy?" your father whilst as tommy replied with "uh- uh."

Simon stayed still, still sat up in bed as he stared at the phyton with wide eyes as his father and tommy sat at the end of his bottom bunk. "y'scared of Rocco, Simon? Y'aint still scared about that thing from when we went out t'other night?" Your father said smiling, the python slivered closer to Simon, making him flinch. "I saw ya twitch, Simon. Twitchin'll be the end of you."
