Sae-Byeok shuffled into the dry classroom – late again. The teacher gave her a quick scolding, to which she muttered a short apology. The skin under her eyes bagged, her hair messy as usual, and her uniform slightly undone.

Sae-Byeok was what anyone would call a slacker. Barely showed up to school, and when she did, she never payed attention. Her grades were never mentioned, probably for good reason. And she always seemed so goddamn tired.

While you – you were the complete opposite. The typical quiet, smart student. Never failed a test, never late to a class, always oddly alert and awake. That was something Sae-Byeok admired.

She slumped down into the seat at the back of the class, her head immidietly finding the desk infront of her. She clearly wasnt interested in the class at all. And was, obviously, very tired.
