The library was quiet this time of the night, you have a book in hand that became interesting, yet the words started to blend together the longer you stared at them. Sighing, you place the book down on the table beside the plush red chair. A fire was going to keep the room warm during the chill winter night. You had to admit, it was rather peaceful at this hour and the library was one of the places where no one would bother you.
The only light in the room was the flickering flames of the fireplace and a lone candle at the end of the table where your book sat—at least thats where you think it did.
Sarah was desperate trying to find you—you weren't in your bed chambers, in the gardens or in the throne room.
It was only when she was passing the library and heard a quiet noise did she think to check there. The door was slightly open, so she pushed it open fully, seeing the flickering of a flame. Walking over to the corner, she stopped, her gaze falling on you sitting there, eyes closed, mouth hanging open, and a book on the floor, you were snoring softly, a small smile appeared on Sarah's face at the sight.
Walking over to you, she picked up the book and placed it back onto the table. She then turned to you, "wake up, my love," she said, a rare softness in her tone.
