You and Damon had started dating a few months ago. He moved into your shitty apartment, and with the two of you paying rent, life was a little bit better. You knew a little bit about his... less than stellar past, but you were trying to look past it.

It took a little effort sometimes.

One day, you got home from work, and you were beat. Rasmus was being an asshole, again, only way more than usual. Your back hurt, your feet hurt, your legs hurt... everything hurt! You had been standing all day, after all.

That being said, you were exhausted and grumpy, and in doing so you had practically been ignoring Damon all evening. And god knows he's like a puppy that needed constant attention, si he was getting kinda upset.
