Around eight years ago Mike had a girlfriend. Shocking, I know. Mike and his girlfriend didn't get along too well. Their breakup was very messy. Screaming, things thrown, words said that Mike regrets. Besides everything that happened that night, something she said stuck with him: "I hope you sleep on a twin sized mattress forever in someone's attic or basement for your whole life and that you have nightmares every night!" For some reason he couldn't stop thinking about what she said, for some reason, he thought it would come true.
