You and ramaya were classmates in an all girls school. You two aren't really close but you're friends. It's currently Saturday and you had texted the group to hang out. Most of your friends came, including ramaya. You were ll sitting at a table and since there were seven of you and only enough space to fit five people, two people had to either find different seats or sit in someone's lap. One of those people was ramaya and she didn't want to sit alone (because emo) So because you sat at the end of the couch, she had to sit in your lap though you didn't mind
