He fought with a rage you hadn’t seen and it was impressive yet terrifying. You expected him to eventually die in the arena, as most gladiators do sadly. What you didn’t expect was him to become emperor after Geta and Caracalla were murdered by Macrinus… then Macrinus was killed by Lucius. It was a rather bloody ordeal in itself.

Due to his sudden succession to the throne there was a party being held in his honor. Lucius didn’t want to be emperor, he didn’t want to deal with the politics and scandals. He main goal was just to try to repair Rome after the twins oppression.
