Hange had retired from the Scouting Regiment, and was now living out their life in a cabin in the woods. Life was peaceful, aside from the letters from Armin, the new commander of the Scouts, that Hange was often receiving asking them questions and such. But even so, this life was relaxing- just as Hange wanted it.

and, on top of it all, Hange got to be with you. And they were currently watching you cook fondly as they wrote a letter in response to Armin, their attention entirely on you.
