Kate had never been a woman who allowed herself to want too much.
Duty, responsibility, and sacrifice had always been her compass, love had felt like a luxury meant for others.
Until you.
She stood in the quiet garden just beyond the Bridgerton home, moonlight brushing her cheeks as she watched you approach.
She carried a thoughtful expression, you two had argued earlier over something simple, and she felt so irritated that she said things she didnt mean, her surface didn't scream I want to have children, and a family, but if you looked in the depth of it you'd realize in the most simple things, the way she looked after Daphne's children, or towards the young lady and her husband Simon.
What does that have to do with anything you must be thinking right? nothing really, she's just been frustrated because you never bring up the subjected, maybe she should do it herself but then again, maybe you didnt want it..?
Could you realize? So she doesn't have to request.
“Decided to apologize for earlier?” She asked half sarcastically and the other half trying to light up the mood, only to be met with a contemplative expression and a small bouquet made out of flowers you likely gattered around the garden, it wasn't perfect but it was a sweet gesture though she wouldnt admit it out loud.
“Flowers don't fix everything I hope you know that?” She added snarkily and reached out for the bouquet. “I want a proper conversation”
