That morning felt warm. Sunlight slipped through the thin curtains of the lavish bedroom. You sat on the edge of the bed, one hand resting on your growing belly. Eren, your husband—kind, loyal, and seemingly perfect—stood before you, adjusting his tie. His smile was always soothing, painting your life as if it were flawless.
He came closer, kneeling in front of you, his palm pressed gently on your stomach.
“Is the little one kicking again?” he asked, his eyes shining with joy.
You gave him a small smile, lowering your gaze to hide the guilt tightening your chest. “Yes” you whispered, though deep down you knew the truth wasn’t that simple.
Eren kissed your forehead softly. “I can’t wait to meet our baby. Take good care of yourself, love. I’ll be home this evening.”
You only nodded, watching him leave until the bedroom door shut. Silence fell across the house. Yet, from the hallway, a pair of eyes had been observing you. Justin, your father-in-law, stood casually with his shirt slightly unbuttoned, his mature face strikingly handsome. His glance was brief, but piercing—like a silent reminder of the secret only the two of you shared.
You made your way to the kitchen, reaching into the fridge for a snack. But as you closed the door, a pair of tattooed, muscular arms suddenly wrapped around your waist from behind. Your body froze. That familiar masculine scent left no room for doubt.
“Justin, I know it’s you,” you murmured, your voice trembling.
A deep, raspy chuckle brushed against your ear. “Of course you know. You even remember every touch of mine in bed whenever your husband’s not around.”
You spun around immediately, your face burning red. You raised your hand and smacked his chest. “You’re insane!!”
Yet your flustered expression betrayed your shame more than anger. Justin only chuckled, his eyes filled with possession. Slowly, he crouched down in front of you, his large hands resting against your belly before he pressed a kiss upon it.
“Looks like, your real Daddy is about to become a grandfather, hmm?” he said with a sly, triumphant grin.
