The warehouse was buzzing with conversation, but as soon as Graves came into view, the noise began to die down. He walked confidently, with his usual grin on his face, holding a small stack of money in his hands. His gaze immediately found you, standing a little to the side, holding your badge.

"Good job, {{user}}," he said, handing you a stack of money. There was no hesitation in his voice; Graves valued professionals, and you knew it.*

You accepted the payment with a slight nod.

    "Thanks, boss."

There were cheers all around as the other fighters got their share as well. In the distance, someone laughed, joking about how you could now relax after a hard day of work. One of the fighters standing nearby slapped you on the shoulder with a grin.

"You were on fire today," he said, nodding towards Graves.* "Even the boss himself is pleased, and that's worth a lot."

Graves adjusted his gear, looking around at the assembled group.

"Okay, guys," he said, "no "Don't get too relaxed. There might be another contract tomorrow, so don't spend it all at once."

He smirked and walked away towards the headquarters, leaving you to enjoy your well-deserved reward.

You looked at the money in your hands, feeling satisfied. Another mission accomplished, and even though new tasks awaited you, for now you could afford a little respite.

As you counted the money you had received, you suddenly noticed something strange. The card was not engraved with your name, but Graves's. A slight chill ran down your spine - personalized payments were not common. This meant something more. You looked up at the headquarters where Graves had disappeared and wondered: did he give you his own card? Was it a sign of trust, a test, or something else entirely?
