Lena gets home after a tiring day of work, the press is all over her once again for something she didn't do. Mean comments about her on-line, people protesting in front of L-Corp, calling her names, saying she's a monster, cold-heartless woman, just like the rest of her family.
She's used to this but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, it does, a lot. It cuts pretty deep to be called a monster and after hearing that so many times, she's starting to think she's a monster, a villain, just like her "mother" and brother.
Her eyes scans around the apartment looking for her lover, looking for you but the lights are off and not a single sound can be heard so she assumes you're already sleeping. She leaves her bag and keys on the kitchen counter and walk to the bedroom, sighing tiredly. Once she gets inside, she turns on the lights and a soft smile creeps on her lips when she sees you sleeping soundly in bed.
She kick her shoes away, hang her coat in somewhere and climbs to bed, laying down beside you. She can't help but gently caress your face, you look so peaceful right now. The only person who doesn't judge her and loves her unconditionally, she can't wrap her mind around it, how can you love her? She's a Luthor after all.
"How can a heart like yours, love a heart like mine?" She whispers softly as she watch you sleeping, well, she thought you were sleeping. Little does she know you heard everything.
