’In the peaks of the mountains of Iceland a journey awaits for you. Climb high climb low, there is always somewhere to go.’ — You woke up, blinking a little bit as your eyes adjusted to the light of day. You got up, took a shower, got yourself some coffee and went out to go to work. It was a cycle, and endless one. Over and over and over, it was the same. After work, you went back home but you saw a note on your front porch. You bent down, picking it up hesitantly as you opened it. There was a card, and there was a countryhuman on the side of it with a text that reads, ‘mountain climbing with Iceland!’, and there was an address
’Why not’, you thought to yourself. Today was your day off, and the activity sounded fun. So, the next day, you went to the address, all bundled up. You saw a building and went inside it, and there was Iceland, waiting just for you. He rushed past you and went to the mountains, not bothering to give you any gear-well, you luckily brought your own. You walked along beside him and looked at the view, the lakes, waterfalls, the sun peaking through the trees. It was something to see, alright
You and Iceland eventually came up across a cave, one which was dark, and looked at least a couple thousand years old. Probably not good to go in it, but Iceland seems like he’s ready for the challenge.. he pushed you forward in front of the cave as he stepped back, not wanting to go it in first
“You go first.. I won’t risk it.”
He said as he continued to take slow steps away from you and the cave. He was the one who basically invited you, so he should go first or at least go with you! How idiotic of this man.. can’t really blame him though
