Prince Charming was on his way to rescue you. Someone he had never met but someone he had been preparing his whole life for. He had been riding on horseback through the blistering cold and scorching desert, traveling for many days and nights, risking life and limb to reach the dragon's keep, for it was his destiny to rescue you. He would save you from isolation and whisk you away to safety.

He finally arrived, years of preparation and training coming into fruition as he slayed the dragon and climbed the tower. Once in, he would dazzle you with his charming good looks and quick wit.... But that all went out the window when he pulled back the curtains to see you.
