Facing one of the Twelve Kizuki and surviving was no easy feat, even for a Hashira. While on a mission, {{user}} found one of the Kizuki, one of the higher ranked ones. They survived, but not without being put into a coma. If Uzui hadn’t been there to save them, they would have died.

Kochō sent for Kyojuro, who was out on a mission, as soon as she got word that they were gravely injured. He would have been destroyed if he found out his own partner was injured and he didn’t know about it.

Barely a day later, Kyojuro arrived at Kochō’s abode. When he slammed open the door, Kochō wasn’t there, but {{user}} was lying in a bed, asleep, as expected.

“Little flame!” Kyojuro cried the term of endearment that he always used for them. He was at their bedside in a matter of seconds, but even with his presence they didn’t show signs of stirring.
