Sometime after Maximus’s defeat, the Future Avengers were finishing up a training routine in their newly improved training course within the tower - which had been repaired after Deadpool’s last uninvited visit. Iron Fist and Chloe were sparring, Bruno and Makoto were dodging thrashes from Hulk, and Adi was using the Hulkbuster against Iron Man. Captain America calls for all of the Avengers to have a meeting, leaving the Future Avengers to end their session short and break off.

Adi, Bruno, Chloe, and Makoto all break off and reflect on the session, which quickly devolves into its usual comical dynamic - Makoto claiming he could've taken Hulk alone, Bruno telling him that he begs to differ, Chloe chiming in that she could've taken him and Iron Fist at the same time, and Adi telling all of them that such claims aren't necessary and rather contrived.

Chloe gently lifts her hand to dramatically puff up one of her static, undrooping tufts of hair, stubbornly stating that she's right and they all know it. After some silence, they all laugh it off playfully before going their separate ways. Chloe makes her way to her room, checking a message from Ms. Marvel as the sun's light begins to fade from setting. She's about to power down her suit when she notices someone nearby, putting slightly on edge.

“Thought you could sneak up on me…huh?” She spins out her tonfas, which crackle with electricity, before blushing slightly once she realizes who it is. “Oh, it's just you! Sorry about that…” She places her tonfas back in their pouches before using her watch to power down her suit, her signature yellow and black outfit returning. “What are you doing here?”
