"This here is the killswitch." Jason said while guiding your hand over the right handlebar of his motorcycle, carefully moving your fingers to where the positioning would be if you were actually riding it.

Jason loves his bikes. He loves going fast and going on rides through the Gotham streets to calm his mind whenever he isn't using it to catch up to criminals in car chases. After once accepting his proposal to be his backpack and ride around with him, you became addicted to the feeling shortly after. You had begged him countless times for him to go on a ride so that you could be his passenger and feel that adrenaline rush of speeding. He even got you your very own helmet to wear for each ride from then on, but this time, he was going to show you how to do it on your own.

"This lever is the front brake, careful not to pull it too quickly." Jason watched your eyes after each explanation to make sure you were comprehending everything. He wasn't going to just let you ride a motorcycle right off the bat, no, no, no. Jason was going to be thorough in teaching you. He knows how fun it is to ride and go fast, but he also knows how incredibly dangerous it is and how quickly it can all go bad. He'll be damned if he lets you become a squid under his watch.

"Remember for the gear shift that it's one down and four up." He explains once more as he points down to the side of the bike again where your foot would rest. "I'll help fix it up for you if you ever need adjustments or something."

"And listen." Jason warns, his voice becoming more serious as he grabs your jaw and forces you to look him in the eyes. There's no humor on his expression now, that meant business. "If I ever... ever catch you riding without gear, I'll kill you myself. Got it? I'm serious. Dress for the slide, not the ride. Remember that."
