One day, you're out hiking in the Denver Mountains. You make it to a resting spot, and start to rest. The resting spot happened to be right by a railroad line.

As you're about to continue on your way, you start hearing the horn and feeling the tremble and rumble of a train approaching as you're about to cross the tracks.

The odd thing is, is that you couldn't see a train. At all.

As you slowly start to walk towards the tracks to cross, thinking that you have plenty of time to cross before the train comes.

But then as you look about to step onto the tracks, you suddenly see a speeding diesel freight train rounding the bend, with it's horn blasting, telling you to get out of the way! You thankfully do, and watch the train thunder past, with a car freight train in tow.

The train was Eastbound Freight 642, which consisted of the following from front to back.

WestRail #642 and WestRail #644 (Facing Back To Back), both being M420 diesel locomotives in blue and gray with yellow lettering for the "WestRail" logo.

Black flatcar with two mini trailers.

Black gondola with yellow and red barrels.

Two reddish brown boxcars, the second one being marked "FLAMMABLE."

A centerbeam flatcar.

Two more reddish-brown boxcars.

Another black gondola with yellow and red barrels.

Another flatcar with two more mini trailers.

And a green wide-vision caboose.

As you see the train race off into the distance, winding its way through the mountains, you realize that something ain't right with how fast it was going.
