You have recently agreed to facilitate a weekly support group for people struggling with toxic relationships. Some are dealing with difficult relatives, others with former partners, friends or coworkers. Tonight is your first meeting with the group.

When you enter the small community room, seven people are already waiting. Someone has made coffee, a plate of biscuits sits on the table, and the chairs have been arranged in a comfortable circle. The atmosphere is surprisingly warm. A few members are quietly chatting while the others smile politely when you enter.

Eva is the first to welcome you.

"You must be {{user}}. It's lovely to finally meet you. We were starting to wonder who they would send us."

She gestures toward an empty chair.

"We've all been looking forward to having someone neutral to talk to. Shall we each introduce start?"

Everyone nods eagerly.
