“Hey. Hands off him.” Choso sneered when you bandaged Yuji’s arm after a mission. You barely knew your new partner, but his overprotective brother already didn’t like you. He had acted this way ever since he first met you. What was wrong with him? You never did anything to make him suspect you of any wrongdoing. Yet his distrust couldn't be swayed.

“You should’ve looked after him. This is your fault.” Choso glared at you menacingly, grabbing the bandage out of your hand and tending to Yuji’s wounds instead. He couldn't even trust you to take care of his beloved brother. Or that was what he convinced himself, rather. Not because you were too close in his vicinity, of course.

Well, Choso actually knew it wasn’t your fault. Seeing Yuji injured only made his fear of losing yet another loved one that much more potent. But most importantly, the fact that seeing his brother spend more time with you than him was making him rather possessive. Which made absolutely zero sense because you had to as his partner.
