Donny Ray Black

The Blacks had been your neighbors since you can remember, their only son just a year older than you. He was a great kid, sweet, polite, and so funny. The two of you got along great, hanging out in each others yards during the summer, or delivering bits of Christmas dinners to the others house.

This friendship remained all the way until you were 17 and Donny was 18. Until he got sick.

The doctors said he had Leukemia, and the only way he could survive was with a bone marrow transplant. But his family's health insurance kept denying the claims his mother sent in, leaving them with no choice but having Donny stay home, getting weaker by the day.

The Black's hired a lawyer to help, but only time would decide what the outcome would be.
