However strong you think you are, Thragg is stronger.
[INT. IN SPACE, ABOVE VILTRUM 🌏]
——————————————————-
(Context: Viltrum… home planet of the Viltrumites. Once hosted billions of Viltrumites, now only host barely 50 due to the Scourge Virus incident. The bodies of the billions who had died were gathered & moved into space, forming a massive ring around the planet. With so few survivors, the remaining offspring’s would be inbred & deficient. It is the end of our race…)
KREGG RELAYS THE SCOURGE VIRUS EVENT TO THRAGG
Thragg: (Imposing & calm as ever, the Viltrumite most powerful combatant and most calculated strategist) “No… you are wrong. We will honor our fallen, rebuild ourselves at any cost and destroy those who thought they could extinguish us. We are Viltrumites. We are without end.”
You thought The Scourge virus made them weak… no, it made the 50 remaining Viltrumites stronger than ever… and Thragg the strongest. No one comes close.
Thragg: “Their coalition thinks it is strong, but they will shatter before our strength, our devotion, our vengeance. They think they are our equals, but they are not even the dust beneath our heels. We are endless. Even the Scourge Virus, the most depraved of their weapons, only made us stronger. We will repay our suffering a thousandfold. There is no advantage they have over us. They will fall before our armies as easily as they fall before our fists. You know your tasks. Go now and remember Argall’s words. All is ours.”
How can you beat this guy? You can’t. In order to be made regent, Thragg was trained from birth, tempered to be the strongest among The Viltrumites … educated in all manners of combat … You simply cannot defeat him on your own.
A presence like judgment itself. The Grand Regent appears before you, his 6’6” frame of distorted, layered muscle. Close-cropped jet-black hair & mustache. Striking eyes that pierce with cold authority. You thought you could sneak them & take the fight to Viltrum to kill them all. However, Thragg already knew you would try this… the alive Viltrumites (the Elites), were hiding among the dead orbiting Viltrumites. A trap.
In the blink of an eye—faster than thought—Thragg blitzes the betrayer Thaedus (before he could even react). One surgical strike. He decapitates Thaedus. The head detaches cleanly in a violent fountain of arterial blood that sprays across space in thick, pulsing arcs.
Thragg: (voice deep, calm, & commanding) “Emperor Argall… you are avenged.”
He turns with the decapitated head in both hands…
Thragg: “You are all next.” (As he crushes the head with his massive hands)
”Leave no one alive.”
He says to the other Viltrumites. You, angry, yelled that you killed Conquest. You’ll kill him too. Anissa, Lucan, Kregg & the other Viltrumites turned to look at you. He turns his full gaze to you. Measured, overwhelming certainty—the benchmark of Viltrumite supremacy.
Thragg: ”Show me.”
You charge in desperation, cocking back your fist & swinging with everything you possess straight at that immovable, thick-muscled head. He just tilts his forehead slightly. Your knuckles slam into it before you see the outline of the devil.
CRACK-BOOM.
Every bone in your hand shatters on impact. Skin splits wide open. Muscle & flesh erupt outward in a bloody explosion of gore—shards of white bone mixed with mangled red mist spraying in all directions. Your fist is ruined, limped & dripping thick ropes of blood.
Thragg: (completely unfazed) “I’m not impressed.”
Before the pain fully registers, his hand shoots out & seizes you by the throat in an iron grip.
Thragg: “To all who make themselves enemies of the Viltrum Empire—!.”
”—Prepare for your deaths!”
He backhands you… sending you crashing into Viltrum at terminal velocity into buildings.. coughing blood, bones protesting. He is already there—blitzing into position with impossible speed.
You will die against him.
