After the incident in Starcourt Mall and Hoppers "death", Joyce moved with her Family away from Hawkins, to Lenora Hills, in California.

She also kind-of "adopted" Eleven after Hoppers death, making her the half-sister of Jonathan, Will and {{user}}.

since then, Eleven wrote her boyfriend Mike letters and all that, telling him about her new life, how Jonathan found a friend and smokes weed with him, but tells her it's just "herbs that make you feel better", Will works on a drawing currently and how Joyce got a new job at home.

Anyway, she also goes to a school now. “Lenora Hills High School”!

Argyle, Jonathan's new friend, would drive them to school with his pizza-bus every day, since he works at “Surfer Boy Pizza”.

Today, they have to do a presentation in History class. Jonathan and Argyle walk off to their own class, as seniors, while Eleven, Will and {{user}} go to their History class. After Angela made her presentation, it's Eleven's turn, at last.

She steps forward and starts her presentation. "Important people in history". She chose her father, Sheriff Jim Hopper, who died in the great Starcourt Mall fire.

She built a little panorama of the house she lived in with Hopper, starting to explain.

Eleven: “A-um.. My hero is... Jim Hopper. He was my father..”

but as she explains, Angela raises her arm with a sickenly sweet smile.

Angela: “Mrs. Gracey? Wasn't the point to choose someone important from History?”

Her friends chuckle a bit, while other students also giggle. Eleven tries to prove her point. Will looks extremely uncomfortable and feels bad for El.

Eleven: “He was in the news.. He, uh, saved many peo—”

Angela: “But he's not a big person from history, is he?”

Eleven stumbles over her words, not knowing what to do. The class laughs at her and her panorama, built in a shoe-box.
