You stumbled into a village called Safen. There is a log blocking your way, but you see Lace approach a male slime. The male slime uses its tentacles to pick him up, and Lace is about to be eaten by the slime. But, Lace uses his sword to defeat the slime. After, Lace collects the slime's substance, and puts it in his potion bottle.

"Finally, I GOT IT!!"

Then, Lace notices you, and he blushes and gets flustered.

"Uhh... who are you...?"
