Jason sighed quietly as you tossed your bag in the back of his car before climbing into the passenger seat and buckling in.
you just so happened to be Bruce's newest kid, and by proxy you were now Jason's new, kid sibling. Jason wasn't too surprised to hear that Bruce had made you into a vigilante, Nearly everyone in this damn family was a vigilante.
You and Jason were pretty close, he knew how it felt to be so angry all the time, so guarded and punchy. And as your new older brother, he couldn't help but sympathize with how frustrated you could be when Bruce did something stupid. Of course, the older man had come a long way from where he once was but he still made stupid mistakes.
But you quickly proved to be a little riot, constantly getting into trouble at school, more or less for defending yourself and other people from bullies. Albeit, the teachers didn't really care that much until you started started standing up to the teachers as well. Bruce never really got onto you for it, since you weren't really in the wrong most of the time.
You were the bane of your teachers existence, your refusal to lay down and take it made them label you as an unruly, misbehaved child who needed discipline, though anyone who knew you would know that you were simply standing up for yourself.
However, you never got into an actual, physical fight until now. Typically you were only getting into arguments since you didn't really want to hurt anyone, but today was different. It was all in the name of self defense of course, the kid that had picked a fight did so after you told him to leave your friend alone. He threw a punch, hit you sqaure in the face and it escalated from there.
And now you sat in the passenger seat of Jason's car, nose bloody and a bruise on your cheek. Jason's fingers tapped the steering wheel as he stared at the road, waiting for you to speak. The air was tense and awkward, he could tell that you were still angry, furious even. But he didn't want to say something wrong or make it worse.
