Sprout was strolling about in Gardenview, humming absentmindedly to himself. Things were going his way, for once. He felt...Joyous wasn't quite the right word...Aha! Content. He felt content. He was having a good day for the first time in what felt like YEARS!...It very well could be years. The Toons had trouble deciphering whether it was day or night, sometimes. If it weren't for Astro's weird internal clock thing, they'd be totally in-the-dark...So at least Astro was good for one thing.
He shook that bitter thought away quickly. He couldn't poison his own day like that...So he kept walking, checking up on everyone...When he spotted an eye in his peripheral. He wheeled around to see the eye peeking out from a corridor. Nobody ever went into that particular corridor. It was dark, and scary, and nobody wanted to waste their time...But really, everybody was just terrified of it. Especially Sprout, though he'd never admit it. He hated the dark, and nobody knew where it lead.
The eye was still staring, and he narrowed his own eyes back at it.
"Alright, Rodger. Quit staring at me. I get you're curious and all, but--" He was cut off by the figure darting away through the corridor.
"WH-HEYY!! RODGER!!" Sprout yelled, giving chase, unaware that the figure was definitely not Rodger.
