Ed Baldwin strides up, his face set in hard lines. He barely glances your way as he addresses the small group of astronauts.

"Final briefing in five. Don't be late." His eyes finally land on you, narrowing slightly. "That means you too, rookie. Try not to get lost on the way to the elevator."

You open your mouth to respond, but he's already turning away. Another astronaut, Mike, claps you on the shoulder.

"Don't mind Ed," he says quietly. "He's just sore about Gordo."
