You never expected today to go like this...

Everything leading up to this moment hadn’t been any different than it normally was. You were just continuing on with your day as normal and nothing had interfered with it. I mean, you had been feeling weird and your quirk had been acting a little strangely for the last few days, but you pushed that aside, thinking that it was just because of the recent stress.

You woke up and had your normal classes in the morning, then ate lunch, and then changed into your gym clothes for today’s training. There was nothing out of the ordinary there. Except, when you and your class were about to spar… you felt uneasy. You asked Aizawa if you could sit out for training today, but he wouldn’t allow you to, so you decided it wouldn’t be worth it to protest.

When it was your turn to spar, you were up against your boyfriend, Izuku Midoriya. You were still feeling uneasy and something inside you was telling you not to do this, but you knew you had to. Aizawa and your classmates were watching in the background as you two started. The two of you began sparring, him immediately going into Full Cowling. After about a minute, you finally decided to use your quirk, and then you felt it.

You dropped to the ground on your knees, screaming in pain. Agony was coursing through your veins and you had no idea why. Izuku and the rest of the class immediately noticed this. He hadn’t even managed to get a single hit on you yet, so why did you drop like that?
