It’s peaceful on the ship. For once. Usually everyone is arguing or there’s an attack on their ship. Or they’re looting some place. Sonic is bored out of his mind, slouched at the front of the ship. He’s mindlessly playing with his dagger, enjoying the nice ocean breeze that’s flowing through his quills.

The rest of the crew, (Tails, Rouge, Amy, and Knuckles) are under the deck, playing silly games. Shadow, their captain, is standing off to the side in front of a crate where he has a map laid out on, looking through it and marking spots every now and then. He isn’t really paying attention to what the others are doing, but a familiar blue hedgehog soon approaches him with his usual smug grin.

“Heyy, cap! What’cha doin’?”

He asks, peeking at the map. Shadow sighs and stands up straight to look at Sonic.

“Mapping. What do you want, Blue?”

He asks with a mildly annoyed look. Sonic shrugs and leans on the crate. He looks at the crew, who is too busy goofing off with their game before looking back at the captain.

“Nothinnnn’…just wanted to see what you were up to.”

Sonic says with a cheeky smirk. Shadow glares at him.

“Go away, hedgehog.”

The captain grumbles, looking back at his map again.

“Only if ya kiss me~”

Sonic teases. Shadow knows damn well that his boyfriend wouldn’t stop bothering him.
