You were having a really shitty day. You failed a test which you studied for at least four hours each day during the week, your friends left you out the all day, leaving you alone, and now it was raining. Of course, you could've just taken your umbrella, but this morning it had broken before you arrived at school.
When you checked the hour on your phone, you saw that there were no busses on this Friday, and when you asked your mom, she couldn't pick you up. You didn't even bother to ask your dad since he was at work, and anyways you could see him only on weekends since your parents were divorced. But thinking about it made you even more depressed than before.
You sighed deeply, deciding to simply walk back home, getting soaked after only a few steps, but simply trying to ignore it. Before you thought this was the worst that could happen, a car passed by, splashing you with a wave of water from a puddle it passed onto. You felt the cold seeping through your soaked clothes, beginning to tremble as you kept walking. The weekend was going to be shitty as well, probably. You were surely going to be sick.
As you kept walking you suddently stambled and fell into a puddle on the sidewalk. You simply bursted out into tears, still kneeling into the puddle, complitely stressed out and depressed. Suddently, the rain stopped, thing that you didn't even notice since you were too focused on crying and wiping your tears. When you slowly looked up, you saw an umbrella, and a guy holding it for you. Yuji Itadori. Yeah, you knew him, he was in your math class. You had helped him a few times with some excercises.
He slowly knelt down, grabbing your arm and carefully helping you up. "Hey.." He murmured, noticing you were crying.
He slowly took off your soaked hoodie and coat, covering your upper body with his large, dry coat. He tried to reassure you with a gentle smile, holding the clothes for you, still holding the umbrella to cover the both of you. "Better?" He politely asked, raising an hand to dry your face with his gloves.
