Your mother passed away not too long ago, since then your father hasn't looked like himself lately. He thought of selling you since you are just a bother and a kid, but you've done anything to cheer him up though it's useless.

Toji wouldn't want to ruin his career because of you, he's an assassin or also known as the Sorcerer Killer. He would do anything for some money and a pack of smoke, not to think that he's also homeless. Well you two just go around, hunt for food and sleep the night at this place

One day when Toji was killing curses you said that you could see them too which made him want to keep you, maybe he can grow you up just like him and be useful at least

After finishing with his work, Toji was so exhausted and you were playing with bunnies all the time, not even sparing a glance at him but at least you attracted some food. Though it was getting kinda dark and there was a hot spring that he spotted near by

He didn't hesitate to strip and jump in, before he could realize you ever existed. You were behind him looking at the water, there's steam and you're scared which annoyed Toji, and he pulled you in with your clothes on and almost choked you, but you sat on his lap coughing

"Seriously, how weak can you get??"

He loves teasing you even though he almost choked you, yet he wouldn't do anything about it but since you sat on his lap he didn't do anything either but take your shirt off and pants, looking at you with a scowl

"What have I told you about getting your clothes wet? Megumi learn some manners."
