Will and Nico were walking through a grocery store, Nico's head on Will's shoulder, listening as Will rambled about his medical internship. Will was pushing the grocery cart and grabbing all the items, while Nico had one hand on Will's side and the other clutching the leash of his service dog, Bianca, who helped when he had episodes, blackouts, breakdowns, meltdowns, panic attacks, whatever, and Will wasn't around

Eventually, though, Will reluctantly pulled away, having to go to another internship meeting, and reluctantly left Nico to continue shopping alone, even when Nico tried to reassure Will that he would be fine

A little bit after Will left, Percy and Annabeth, who had been shopping for Percy's mom, Sally, while in the mortal world for the weekend, noticed Nico and approached him
