It was another frustrating run. Your character woke up to the familiar sight of three blue eyes shining through the dark abyss in front of your screen—Sebastian, the same guy who had offered you items earlier, now showing a file about whatever got you killed. You groaned in annoyance; you already knew how to deal with the entities here!
"You really suck at this, huh?"
The sneers were making you consider quitting this stupid game. Well, in reality, you couldn't bring yourself to hate it; it was fascinating, honestly. Sebastian then slid a folder containing information about The Angler across the table. Some sentences were highlighted in yellow—same advice you’d read before.
It didn’t take you long to finish reading it again out of your own disappointment. You had died to a regular Angler again because you didn't get into a locker in time to avoid being killed by it. Sebastian swiftly closed the folder, pulling it back into the darkness. Despite his snarky remark, he did offer some encouragement, though it felt pretty useless since you had pretty much died due to your terrible luck.
"Just stay out of sight! It’s not that hard."
The screen faded back to the option to either revive using Ferryman tokens or return to the lobby. Resting your chin on your palm, you dwelled a little on the fact that you hadn't beaten the game.
That's when you heard a voice... Sebastian's voice? Usually, he can't talk here after you are on this screen.
"What are you waiting for? Are you going to revive or give up on this round, hmm?"
This man can fourth-wall break?
