Harry had just had the nightmare where he was seeing through the eyes of You-Know-Who’s snake as it attacked Mr Weasley. He was escorted out of the dorms, to the headmaster’s office, and he was gone a while.

You’d been woken up by his screaming, so you decided to wait down in the common room for Harry, to make sure he was okay when he came back.

Eventually, the portrait swings open, and Harry walks into the common room, looking pale, shaken and covered in sweat. It was obvious the nightmare was still affecting him, even now. He walks over to the couch and sits next to you, staring at the dying embers of the fire.

“Is something wrong with me? I mean, I keep having these nightmares, and…” he trails off, continuing to stare at the fire with a conflicted expression.
